Hi, My name is Alessandra Scotti and I am the founder of SmartCruiseTours.com. Here is a bit of information on how I came to start off SmartCruiseTours.com.
I was born in Civitavecchia and moved to the US where I stayed 25 years. A few years ago I had to move back to Civitavecchia for family reasons. I soon found out that people traveling on a cruise to Civitavecchia where not at all well informed. As a matter of fact I often find them on trains confused, going the wrong direction, and getting lost. The greatest majority of the people arriving in Civitavecchia have never been there nor in Rome. The first time around with a short time available, visiting Rome can be quite confusing. It all gets a lot easier as one gains experience, but most of us can have real problems.
So I decided to provide an online tour operator that would offer the the most cost effective services that most people do not even know about, along with detailed and practical guides showing exactly what to do and what to expect.
We provide services that cannot be found anywhere else, and that is because we are right here.
